My left and right eyes require different strengths.  Can you accommodate me? 

YES!  We can accommodate this type of request for a fee of $15.00.  Due to the customization required, we ask that you call our Peeps to place this order by phone at 800-348-2508.  Here’s how it works:

  •  Choose your frame (metal and rimless frames cannot be altered, unfortunately)
  •  Purchase one in each desired strength (our readers are fully assembled, so we do have to charge you for two complete pair).
  •  Our expert warehouse team will disassemble the two pair and create a custom frame, created to your desired strength specifications.
  • You will receive the extra frame and screws to be used if needed.


          For example:

  • You wear +1.25 in your L eye and +2.50 in your R. 
  • You choose item #814 Clark in golden tortoise. 
  • You then purchase two frames - one +1.25 and one +2.50 ($22 each)
  • With the customization fee of $15, your total will be $59.00 (orders over $42 qualify for free shipping!)
Do you ship internationally?

Yes, We ship to European EU Countries, UK, Norway, Australia and New Zealand.  If the order value is $75 USD or less we ship USPS Priority Mail. Orders totaling more than $75 USD must be shipped via USPS Priority Mail International for tracking purposes and will incur additional charges. Shipping time is typically 10 to 15 business days. International shipping times do not include any unforeseen customs delays. Customers are encouraged to contact their local customs bureau for information on customs duties and/or limitations. is NOT responsible for any sales taxes, duties or any other fees if applied by the customs service in your country.

What is your return policy?

If upon receipt of your order, you’re not thrilled with the particular style or color just return them within 90 days of receipt. We will issue a refund, or if you wish you can exchange them for another style. We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects and accept any defective item for refund or exchange within 90 days. Your refund will be made in the form of the original payment. We can only accept returns or exchanges for items that were purchased on If you purchased merchandise from a store, you will need to take it back to that specific location for the appropriate return/exchange depending on their policy. 

My Peepers broke; can I send them to you for repair?

Depending on the model and style, minor repairs such as replacement screws and nose pads can be mailed directly to you if you wish to do it yourself. Please contact the Peepers Customer Experience Team (800.348.2508 | prior to sending back merchandise.

What is the difference between Peepers and drugstore readers?

Peepers offers a variety of fun and funky styles that you’ll never see in a drug store. We offer flexible hinges to keep frames comfortably in place. All of our readers offer Aspheric lenses, providing clearer vision and offering a wider, distortion free field of view. Drugstore readers cannot compare with our selection and quality product.

How do I know what strength to wear?

The strength should be displayed on the inside of one of the side arms of your current pair. If you ordered from us previously we should have a copy of the strengths you ordered. If you are buying reading glasses for the first time, please visit our Vision Chart section.
